Firefighting Services

Welcome to the Firefighting Services page of Brixey & Rockbridge Volunteer Fire Department. Our dedicated team of community volunteers is committed to providing emergency response, fire prevention education, and community outreach programs. Learn more about our firefighting services below.

Emergency Response

Our volunteer firefighters are trained and ready to respond to emergencies 24/7. Whether it's a structure fire, car accident, or medical emergency, we are here to provide assistance and support to our community.  Even though we might not be dressed for it.

Fire Prevention Education

Preventing fires is just as important as fighting them. That's why we will be willing to come to your home, businesses, and community organizations. By educating the public on fire safety practices, we aim to reduce the risk of fire incidents.

Community Outreach Programs

In addition to emergency response and education, we actively engage with our community through outreach programs. From participating in local events to hosting open houses at the fire station, we strive to build strong relationships and foster a sense of unity within our community.  Currently, we are trying to get enough participation to bring in a mobile dental clinic for children.  So far, if we can get enough participation, we can get one that takes medicaid, insurance and discounts for those without insurance.  If you are interested, please contact us by pushing the sign me up button.  Please give contact information, number of children and type of payment (cash, medicaid, insurance).  We will not share any of your information.
