Douglas County has been overrun with smoke for days as a burn on N Hwy kept re-igniting.  Things got really ugly today as winds were blowing at nearly 50mph today.  Firefighters were suffering from smoke inhalation while standing on the road.  Fire was hard to contain and jumped the road and fire breaks in many places.  Multiple fire stations from multiple counties aided Squire's volunteer fire department in fighting the blaze.

Thank you to the police who ushered in food and drink but also kept outsiders away.  Police also helped in the evacuation of those being affected by the blaze.

Multiple churches offered those evacuated shelter, food, drink and prayer.  The prayers of protection were definitely felt and witnessed.

Limitless Liquids ensured the trucks did not have to return to their stations to get more water.  You really don't realize what a blessing you were to us.

Lots of places over the days have donated food and drink to those battling to save our natural resources and the homes of many.

News crews got the news out to the public of what was going on.

All of you are Heroes....thank you all for the job that you performed so flawlessly.
