We are a dedicated team of community volunteers working together to protect and serve our neighborhoods. Our passion for firefighting and helping others drives us to be the first responders in times of crisis.

Need for Volunteers is all too real

In rural Missouri we rely on volunteers.  

Recently, we answered a mutual aid call from Caney Mountain VFD.  The call was a roll over with injuries.  Three departments responded with a total of 9 firefighters.  We had 6 from our department show up but, 3 of us arrived after patient had been airlifted.  

Unfortunately, all departments in our area are short staffed and some even lack board members.
